We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong expertise in Data Testing, ETL Testing, and Integration Testing to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about ensuring data quality, validating complex data transformations, and delivering reliable enterprise data solutions.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in validating data across multiple enterprise platforms, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders to validate business-critical data pipelines and integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for enterprise data platforms and integrations.

- Perform end-to-end ETL Testing and Data Validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of data across systems.

- Validate data integrity, completeness, and reconciliation between SAS Viya, Snowflake, SAP, and other enterprise applications.

- Conduct source-to-target validation and verify transformation logic across complex ETL pipelines.

- Execute Integration Testing across upstream and downstream systems to ensure seamless data flow.

- Analyze business requirements, mapping documents, and technical specifications to create effective test scenarios.

- Validate data warehouse implementations, data marts, and reporting datasets.

- Perform regression testing after enhancements, bug fixes, and production releases.

- Investigate, document, and track defects using Jira and collaborate with development teams to drive resolution.

- Prepare detailed test execution reports, defect summaries, and testing documentation.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Ensure compliance with established QA processes, testing standards, and data quality best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 37 years of hands-on experience in Data Testing, ETL Testing, and Integration Testing.

- Mandatory experience working with SAS Viya.

- Strong expertise in Snowflake and enterprise data validation techniques.

- Advanced SQL skills for data reconciliation, data validation, data profiling, and root cause analysis.

- Experience validating ETL workflows, transformation rules, and data migration processes.

- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts including facts, dimensions, SCDs, and data models.

- Experience testing integrations involving SAP and other enterprise applications.

- Hands-on experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira.

- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), SDLC, and QA methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with API Testing using REST services.

- Exposure to automation frameworks for data validation.

- Experience in Data Migration Testing and reconciliation activities.

- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.

- Exposure to enterprise reporting and analytics environments.
