Job Summary :

We are looking for a motivated QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in API Testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, API validation, and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for web applications and APIs.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate responses, data, and workflows.

- Create and maintain automated test scripts.

- Identify, track, and report defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

- Participate in regression, integration, functional, and API testing activities.

- Contribute to improving test coverage and automation processes.

Required Skills :

- 1 to 2 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.

- Hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools.

- Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting.

- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and status codes.

- Knowledge of test case design and defect tracking tools.

- Familiarity with SQL for database validation.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

- Knowledge of JavaScript, Java, Python, or any scripting language.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with version control tools such as Git.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
