About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with strong Business Analyst (BA) skills to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to understand business requirements, translate them into test scenarios, and ensure high-quality delivery across projects. This role involves close collaboration with product, development, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand business requirements and convert them into detailed test cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.

- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, system, UAT).

- Work closely with stakeholders to bridge gaps between business needs and technical implementation.

- Conduct requirement analysis and participate in requirement gathering sessions.

- Identify defects, document them clearly, and work with development teams for resolution.

- Prepare and maintain test documentation including test strategies, test plans, and test reports.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide clarifications to business users.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Owners, Business Teams, Project Managers).

- Ensure timely delivery of releases with high quality.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6-9 years of experience in QA Testing with strong Business Analyst exposure.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.

- Hands-on experience in manual testing; automation exposure is a plus.

- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

- Strong knowledge of defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Domain knowledge (BFSI/Healthcare/eCommerce/etc.) is an added advantage customize as needed.

Preferred Skills :

- Basic knowledge of automation testing (Selenium, API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.).

- SQL knowledge for data validation.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
