Job Summary :

We are looking for a QA Engineer with solid experience in the Consumer Lending domain to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both manual and automated testing, with a strong grasp of lending products, credit decisioning workflows, and regulatory standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications related to consumer lending products (e.g., personal loans, credit cards, auto loans).

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases across UI, API, and backend components.

- Validate the loan lifecycle process including application submission, credit checks, loan approval, disbursement, and loan servicing.

- Conduct API testing for integrations with third-party services such as credit bureaus, identity verification providers, and payment gateways.

- Perform database testing to ensure accuracy of loan data, rules execution, and decisioning logic.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards like TILA and FCRA in testing processes.

Required Qualifications :

- 3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1-2 years in consumer lending or fintech.

- Deep understanding of lending workflows, credit decisioning, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.

- Strong skills in API testing, SQL/database validation, and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured).

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with test automation frameworks.

- Exposure to tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.

- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements in financial applications.

- ISTQB or equivalent certification (optional but preferred).
