Quality Assurance Director - Enterprise Telecom Products

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Director - Quality Assurance to lead the QA strategy, execution, and transformation for enterprise telecom products. The role is responsible for driving engineering excellence, building high-performing global QA teams, defining automation and quality roadmaps, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the organization's QA strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Lead and mentor global QA teams across functional, automation, integration, performance, and system testing.

- Drive test automation, CI/CD adoption, and quality engineering best practices.

- Establish quality governance, release readiness, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Customer teams to ensure successful product delivery.

- Lead defect prevention, root cause analysis, risk management, and production quality improvements.

- Build a culture of innovation, accountability, and engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

- 15+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with leadership experience managing global QA organizations.

- Strong expertise in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation frameworks, and enterprise software testing.

- Proven ability to build, scale, and lead high-performing QA teams.

Telecom Domain Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of telecom technologies, including:

i. 4G/LTE, 5G Core, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi

ii. Mobile Core Networks

iii. International Roaming, Inter-Operator Testing (IOT), and GSMA standards

iv. TAP3, NRTRDE, BCE, Roaming Billing, and Settlement

v. Signaling and Core Network Protocols: SS7, Diameter, SIP, MAP, CAMEL, GTP, SIGTRAN, SCTP, TCP/IP

Technical Expertise :

- Experience with:

i. Test Automation (Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework)

ii. API & Performance Testing (Postman, Rest Assured, JMeter, LoadRunner)

iii. Cloud, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes

iv. CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

v. Linux/Unix, SQL, Python or Java

vi. AI-driven Quality Engineering and Test Automation (preferred)
