Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Lead with 10+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, and performance testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with TOSCA, LoadRunner, and Apache JMeter, along with the ability to lead QA automation initiatives and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end QA automation and performance testing activities.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.

- Create and execute automated test cases using Tricentis TOSCA.

- Plan and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.

- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Micro Focus/OpenText LoadRunner and Apache JMeter.

- Analyze performance test results and identify application bottlenecks.

- Work closely with developers, architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams to resolve defects and performance issues.

- Define QA strategies, test plans, automation approaches, and performance testing methodologies.

- Review test cases, automation scripts, and performance test scenarios developed by team members.

- Mentor and guide QA engineers and automation testers.

- Track testing progress, defects, risks, and quality metrics.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

- Prepare test execution reports, performance reports, and quality dashboards.

- Participate in release planning, production readiness, and defect triage activities.

Required Skills:

- 10+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.

- Strong experience in QA Automation and Test Strategy.

- Hands-on experience with TOSCA automation.

- Strong experience in Performance Testing.

- Hands-on experience with LoadRunner.

- Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.

- Experience in designing and executing:

1. Load Testing

2. Stress Testing

3. Endurance/Soak Testing

4. Scalability Testing

5. Volume Testing

- Strong understanding of performance testing metrics, bottleneck identification, and root-cause analysis.

- Experience with defect management and test management tools.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have:

- Experience integrating automation/performance testing with CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of Jenkins, Git, or other DevOps tools.

- Experience with cloud-based performance testing environments.

- Knowledge of SQL and database performance analysis.

- Experience with API testing and automation.

- Exposure to monitoring and performance analysis tools.

- Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications.

Leadership Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of QA automation and performance testing engineers.

- Define automation and performance testing roadmaps.

- Establish coding, automation, and testing standards.

- Conduct code/script reviews and ensure automation quality.

- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall QA processes.

- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
