About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium to support both functional and automation testing. The role involves working closely with cross-functional and client teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software delivery across applications.

This position is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn new tools and technologies while driving maximum automation across domains.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for UI and API testing

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing

- Identify testing goals and define overall test strategy

- Create test scenarios, test data, and detailed test cases

- Execute test cases and analyze results

- Identify, log, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews

- Understand end-user workflows and business requirements to ensure effective test coverage

- Provide regular test status updates to stakeholders and clients

Technical Skills :

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium

- Strong understanding of automation frameworks

- Experience in API and UI testing

- Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals (QA 101)

- Experience with Test Management Tools

- Working knowledge of SQL

- Solid understanding of Agile methodology with experience working in Scrum teams

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with TestNG and/or TDD frameworks

- Exposure to CI/CD tools and pipelines

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing tools

- Experience in production support activities
