Role Overview :
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining sophisticated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability and performance of enterprise-grade applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define test strategies that align with business requirements. Your work will directly influence the quality of product releases, ensuring seamless user experiences and high system stability across complex data environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement comprehensive automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright to reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate release cycles.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries and ETL validation scripts to ensure data integrity and accuracy within large-scale data warehousing environments.
- Conduct rigorous API testing to verify the functionality, reliability, and security of service-oriented architectures.
- Execute performance testing scenarios to identify system bottlenecks and optimize application responsiveness under high-load conditions.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and rapid feedback loops within the SDLC.
- Analyze large datasets within Big Data ecosystems to validate data processing logic and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in automation coding standards and test coverage strategies.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in building automation frameworks from scratch using Java or Python, with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end testing lifecycles, including planning, execution, and defect management within an Agile environment.
- Advanced technical capability in database validation, specifically handling complex ETL processes and Big Data technologies.
- Strong analytical mindset to troubleshoot performance issues and provide actionable insights to development teams.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical challenges and testing outcomes to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or distributed team setup, maintaining high productivity and self-discipline.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and automation engineering.
