About the Role :

We are seeking a senior, hands-on Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with deep expertise in modern automation frameworks and strong programming skills. This role requires ownership of automation strategy, framework design, and execution while collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality, reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test suites for web and/or mobile applications

- Drive automation strategy, test approach, and best practices across projects

- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to define test scenarios and ensure comprehensive coverage

- Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and provide actionable insights

- Troubleshoot complex automation and environment-related issues

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

- Mentor junior QA engineers and review automation code

- Continuously improve testing tools, frameworks, and processes

Must-Have Skills :

Automation Tools (Deep Expertise in at Least One) :

- Selenium

- Playwright

- Cypress

Strong depth in any one tool is sufficient. Experience with all three is not mandatory.

Programming Languages (Proficiency in at Least One) :

- JavaScript / TypeScript

- Python

- Java

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Appium for mobile automation

- Exposure to multiple automation tools (e.g., Selenium + Cypress)

- Experience with API automation and backend validations

- Familiarity with performance, security, or accessibility testing

- Exposure to cloud-based test execution environments

Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

- Ability to work independently and take ownership

- Experience mentoring and guiding QA team members
