Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Selenium/Playwright Testing

We're looking for a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test suites for web (and where applicable, mobile/API) applications, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate with product and engineering to improve quality across the SDLC.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and regression suites for web applications; extend automation to APIs and mobile when needed.

- Build and evolve automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, TestNG/Maven or equivalent).

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps) and run tests as part of pipelines.

- Identify candidates for automation, maintain test coverage, and perform manual validation for UI dashboards.

- Execute performance testing (JMeter or k6) and analyze results to identify bottlenecks.

- Perform root-cause analysis for defects and collaborate with developers for fixes.

- Participate in code reviews and help raise test quality and automation best practices.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's in CS / Engineering (or equivalent).

- 2+ years in QA automation (internship/project experience acceptable).

- Strong XPath/CSS selector skills and experience with Selenium (Playwright is a plus).

- Proficiency in Java or Python.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps).

- Basic SQL knowledge and ability to run DB queries.

- Experience with performance testing (JMeter/k6).

- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills; comfortable in Agile teams.

Nice-to-have :

- Experience expanding automation to mobile or API-first testing frameworks.

- Familiarity with test reporting (Allure, extent) and containerized test runs.
