About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of test frameworks, automation strategy, and quality engineering principles playing a key role in ensuring product reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.

- Design comprehensive test strategies to maximize automation coverage.

- Build and manage Page Object Models and reusable automation libraries.

- Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot automation issues effectively.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high-quality releases.

- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement processes.

Primary Skills :

- Automation Tools/Frameworks : Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

- Testing Types : Functional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke Testing.

- Locators : Strong expertise in XPath and CSS Selectors.

- Version Control & Tools : Git, Jenkins, JIRA.

- CI/CD : Experience integrating automation suites into continuous delivery pipelines.

- Agile Workflow : Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have :

- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST-assured).

- Knowledge of cross-browser testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave, etc.

- Basic understanding of Docker or containerized test environments
