Job Overview :

Metacube Software is looking for a "Rockstar" Automation Tester with 2-7 years of experience to join our team in Jaipur. This role is for a proactive and skilled individual who will be responsible for both functional and automation testing, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will use frameworks like Selenium and Katalon to build and execute test scripts, contribute to our QA processes, and work within CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Testing :

- Demonstrate hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium and Katalon.

- Independently write detailed test plans, test cases, and robust automation scripts.

- Execute and maintain automation scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high quality.

Functional Testing :

- Use strong experience in both functional and automation testing to review business requirements and functional specifications.

- Create detailed test cases from specifications and business flows, with a deep understanding of e-commerce applications.

- Execute test cases while creating and maintaining necessary test data.

Collaboration & Quality :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, release cycles, and defect management.

- Participate in code reviews and help maintain a high standard of quality across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 2- 7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.

Automation Frameworks : Strong knowledge of automation frameworks like Selenium and Katalon.

Technical Skills :

- Good knowledge of database queries, HTML locators, and test design.

- Deep understanding of QA processes, release cycles, and defect management.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test integration.

- Methodologies : Solid understanding of testing methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Good to Have :

- Provar automation proficiency : A strong fit for the role, but optional.

- Knowledge of the Salesforce platform.

- Experience with e-commerce applications and business flows.
