About the Role :


We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation frameworks, healthcare domain processes, and Agile delivery practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Selenium automation, data validation, healthcare EDI workflows, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium.


- Develop test scripts, automate regression test suites, and ensure seamless integration within CI/CD pipelines.


- Perform detailed file handling and data parsing using Java (XML, JSON, TXT formats).


- Validate and test healthcare-related workflows, with strong understanding of healthcare domain

concepts including:


- Provider & Payer ecosystems


- Health plans such as HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid


- Work extensively with EDI 834 transactions-parsing, validating, mapping, and testing (Mandatory).


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and provide root-cause analysis.


- Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.


- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies-daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and

backlog grooming sessions.


- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, documentation standards, and process improvements.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 7+ years of professional experience in software testing with at least 4+ years in automation testing using Selenium.


- Strong programming skills in Java with hands-on experience in file operations and data manipulation.


- Mandatory experience in Healthcare domain, including EDI transactions (especially EDI 834).


- Solid understanding of healthcare terminologies, payer-provider workflows, and regulatory standards.


- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.


- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with deep involvement in all ceremonies.


- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.


- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications :


- Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, etc.


- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).


- Knowledge of other EDI transactions (e.g., 835, 837) will be an added advantage.


- Certification in healthcare or testing (e.g., ISTQB, AHIP) is a plus.
