We are looking for a detail oriented QA / Test Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks while also performing manual testing when required, ensuring defect-free delivery across web, mobile, and API platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications

- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing

- Analyze requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools

- Execute tests across multiple environments and platforms

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release validations

- Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman / RestAssured

- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

- Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC)

- Experience with automation tools such as :

1. Selenium / Cypress / Playwright

2. Appium (for mobile automation)

- Proficiency in at least one programming language :

i. Java / Python / JavaScript

- Experience with manual testing techniques

- Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)

- Knowledge of SQL for database validation

- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins

- Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies

Good to Have :

- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber)

- Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Knowledge of security testing basics

- ISTQB certification
