Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our automated testing ecosystem, leveraging Robot Framework and Python to ensure the seamless delivery of robust software solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to define testing strategies that align with our aggressive release cycles. By championing quality-first engineering practices, you will directly influence the reliability of our platforms, ensuring an impeccable experience for our global user base and driving significant business value through reduced time-to-market and enhanced system stability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Robot Framework to accelerate regression testing and improve overall test coverage.

- Develop complex test scripts using Python to validate backend services and API integrations, ensuring high performance and data integrity.

- Execute intricate database validations and data-driven testing using SQL to verify the accuracy of information across our distributed systems.

- Partner with development squads to integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, facilitating faster feedback loops and continuous deployment.

- Analyze system requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans that mitigate risks and prevent production defects.

- Mentor junior team members on automation best practices and code quality standards to foster a culture of technical excellence within the QA department.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing automation frameworks from the ground up using Robot Framework and Python.

- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for backend data validation and troubleshooting database-related issues.

- Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable test strategies, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and analytical problem-solving.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical quality metrics to non-technical stakeholders and influence product direction.

- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid office environment in Bangalore alongside diverse engineering teams.

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 4 to 10 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
