Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Python/Playwright Testing

Job Summary :

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who has strong skills in Python and Playwright. The candidate must also have experience working on Data Engineering projects. You will be responsible for creating automated tests, improving test coverage, and ensuring high quality in our software products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.

- Work closely with developers, data engineers, and product teams to understand requirements.

- Test and validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data workflows.

- Identify bugs, report issues, and help drive solutions.

- Improve test frameworks and testing best practices.

- Perform functional, regression, API, and data validation testing.

- Ensure test results are accurate, reliable, and well-documented.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Python coding.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.

- Good understanding of Data Engineering concepts (data pipelines, ETL, batch/stream processing).

- Experience testing APIs, UI, and data workflows.

- Ability to debug issues and find root causes.

- Experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, SQL, or similar.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of Spark, Airflow, or other data tools.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar (preferred).
