Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks and test scripts using Python.

- Implement and execute automated test cases for various WLAN features, including L2/L3 networking protocols and wireless standards.

- Utilize and contribute to test automation frameworks such as Pytest, PyATS, or Robot Framework.

- Develop and automate API tests using the Flask framework.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and delivery.

- Perform thorough regression testing, system testing, and performance testing.

- Identify, analyze, and report defects with clear and concise documentation.

- Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Participate in test plan reviews, design discussions, and code reviews.

- Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) effectively for code management and collaboration.

- Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools, techniques, and technologies to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.

- Contribute to improving overall software quality and engineering processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience : 2.5 to 10 years of experience in QA Automation or a similar role.

Programming Expertise :

- Strong proficiency as a Python Developer, with extensive experience in developing and maintaining test automation scripts.

- Demonstrated expertise in test automation using frameworks such as Pytest, PyATS, and/or Robot Framework.

API Automation :

- Strong knowledge of the Flask framework for developing and testing RESTful APIs.

- Proven experience in API automation and testing.

Networking and Wireless Protocols :

- Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of L2/L3 Networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet, IP, TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing protocols).

- Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of Wireless protocols (e.g., 802.11 standards - a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi concepts, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security).

Version Control :

- Solid understanding and practical experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Problem-Solving :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Communication :

- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Team Player :

- Ability to work independently as well as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills (Plus Points) :

- Experience with network emulators or simulators.

- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with performance testing tools.
