Summary :

Seeking a highly capable QA Engineer to define and own test strategy and automation across our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) / Power Platform, and AI / Agentic solutions. This role is embedded in the CI/CD lifecycle and is central to ensuring quality at every stage of delivery from requirements to production release.

The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with developers, functional analysts, product owners, the DevOps / CI-CD Engineer, and UK business stakeholders to deliver robust, audit-ready quality outcomes. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test suites as a first-class codebase, driving shift-left testing practices, and embedding quality gates into delivery pipelines. The QA Engineer will take responsibility for timely delivery of assigned activities and documentation. This position is permanent, India-based, working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) involving the full SDLC, with core overlap with UK business hours.

Platform capabilities :

- Define and own the end-to-end test strategy across functional, regression, integration, performance and UAT for D365 F&O and Power Platform / CE solutions, aligned with QA Standards and the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).

- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright for model-driven and canvas apps.

- Design and execute API contract tests using Postman / Newman and REST Assured, including schema validation for integrations across F&O, CE, and Azure services.

- Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps pipelines as quality gates; coordinate test data management, environment readiness and refresh cycles with the DevOps.

- Conduct performance and load testing for high-volume F&O batch jobs and Power Platform flows; establish and maintain baseline reporting against One Version updates.

- Evaluate Copilot agent responses, perform prompt regression testing, and conduct grounding / citation accuracy, hallucination, and safety checks for AI / Agentic solutions.

- Own the defect lifecycle in Azure DevOps Boards, ensuring full traceability from requirement to test case to defect to release, in line with QA standards.

- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with UK business stakeholders; manage sign-off governance for One Version updates and major releases.

- Support functional Analysts and Product owners in performing impact analysis and identifying dependencies.

- Conducting risk assessments to identify risks associated with testing, such as test environments, technical, data, tools and regression risks.

- Working closely with developers, Functional Analysts, Product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the software meets quality standards.

- Preparing comprehensive reports on test results, defect status, and overall software quality.

- Managing the peer review process and creating test artefacts as per Organization standards.

- Actively participate in the Quality Assurance Community of Practice (QA CoP), contributing to cross-team standardisation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

- Define and execute data quality validation strategies across D365 F&O, Power Platform / Dataverse, and integrated data sources covering completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, timeliness, and referential integrity.

- Co-ordinate & engage in activities of Scaled Agile Framework such as PI Planning and Scrum Ceremonies and participate in the Quality Assurance Community of Practice.

Development depth :

- C# / .NET for EasyRepro and API test frameworks; TypeScript for Playwright.

- Ability to write maintainable, page-object-pattern automation code treated as a first-class codebase, not throwaway scripts.

- Comfortable extending RSAT with custom validations and reading X++ / C# to understand what is being tested.

- Performance test scripting (JMeter, k6 or Azure Load Testing).

- API contract testing (Postman / Newman, REST Assured) and schema validation.
