About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and API testing. Experience in the retail/e-commerce domain and Order Management Systems (OMS) is preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks, validating application functionality, and ensuring product quality across end-to-end workflows.

Responsibilities:

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright with Java.

- Perform API testing using Postman and REST Assured to validate integrations and application behaviour.

- Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

- Perform database validation using SQL to verify data accuracy and consistency.

- Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects, including root cause analysis.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

- Use Git for version control and collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.

Requirements:

- 5 - 7 years of experience in QA automation and software testing.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright using Java.

- Strong experience in API testing with Postman and REST Assured.

- Proficiency in SQL and database validation.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

- Experience with Git and automation script development and maintenance.

- Strong understanding of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
