Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Java/Selenium

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure product quality.

- Identify, document, and track defects through the development lifecycle.

- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure stability of applications.

- Provide mentorship to junior QA team members and contribute to best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of QA experience, with at least 5+ years in test automation.

- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as :

1. Selenium

2. Cypress

3. Appium (for mobile automation)

4. Postman / Rest Assured (for API testing)

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions).

- Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.

- Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter or LoadRunner) is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.

- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Exposure to security testing and DevOps practices is a plus.
