Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Java/Selenium

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test scripts. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through robust automation and testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and create effective test plans.

- Develop and execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.

- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into development workflows.

- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide quality metrics.

- Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing strategies.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation.

- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

- Experience writing automation scripts using Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.

- Strong knowledge of test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Mocha.

- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Good understanding of software QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.

- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.

- Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Understanding of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.

- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
