Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test suites using JUnit, Cucumber, and BDD frameworks.

- Gather and analyze test requirements, create detailed test cases, and execute automated tests.

- Conduct API and web services testing for RESTful services and microservices.

- Write and execute SQL queries for database validation (DB2 or equivalent).

- Use testing tools like Postman, Fiddler, SOA Test, and similar tools for API/Webservice testing.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure coverage and quality of deliverables.

- Track defects, report issues, and follow up using Jira/Zeplyer.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily scrums.

- Perform performance testing using JMeter (if required).

Required Skills / Experience :

- Strong Java programming skills with experience in automation frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and test automation using JUnit.

- Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.

- Experience with API/Webservices testing tools : Postman, Fiddler, SOA Test.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira/Zeplyer.

- Exposure to performance testing using JMeter is a plus
