Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Cypress/Selenium

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications built on C# / Blazor.

- Implement end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing using modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.

- Design test plans and test cases from functional specifications and user stories.

- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

- Validate web UI functionality, responsiveness, and browser compatibility.

- Automate API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured, and validate request/response data.

- Identify, log, and track defects with detailed documentation using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage and resolve quality issues early in the SDLC.

- Monitor test results, analyze trends, and drive quality improvements across the platform.

Requirements :

- 36 years of experience in QA automation for web applications.

- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress (Playwright preferred for Blazor).

- Experience with C# or JavaScript/TypeScript-based test scripting.

- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, REST APIs).

- Experience testing .NET / Blazor-based applications or other SPA frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).

- Familiarity with Swagger for API exploration and validation.

- Experience with SQL for backend data validation.

- Working knowledge of CI/CD integration and test execution pipelines.

- Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience setting up automated test frameworks from scratch.

- Knowledge of load or performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).

- Understanding of cloud-based testing environments (Azure, AWS).

- Prior experience in SaaS environments
