About the Role:

We are looking for highly skilled QA Engineers who can not only test applications but also understand, read, and execute code. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with API testing, automation frameworks, and Node.js-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases.

- Validate REST APIs using Postman/Newman and create automated API test suites.

- Read, understand, and test Node.js services in production environments.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Cucumber BDD or similar tools.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and API testing.

- Collaborate closely with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and quality processes.

Required Skills:

- 410 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.

- Strong understanding of Node.js applications and ability to read and test Node.js code.

- Hands-on experience with Postman, Newman, request chaining, and assertions.

- Expertise in Cucumber BDD or similar automation frameworks.

- Experience with REST API testing and automation.

- Good understanding of test design, debugging, and defect lifecycle management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern application architectures.

Important Note:

This role requires candidates who are comfortable working with code and testing Node.js-based services. Profiles with only Java/.NET testing backgrounds and no Node.js exposure may not be suitable.
