Role Summary :

The QA / Automation Engineer is a technical role focused on ensuring the integrity and performance of complex client-server and web-based applications. With 4 to 9 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Selenium or Mabl, specifically within a .NET and Angular ecosystem.

This position requires a strong technical foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and the ability to perform deep-level database validation using MySQL. Beyond standard automation, you will leverage PowerShell and batch scripting for environment setup and task automation.

Ideally, you bring domain expertise in Healthcare/EMR, allowing you to navigate complex regulatory and functional requirements while ensuring high-quality software delivery through rigorous SDLC and STLC methodologies.

Responsibilities :

- Automation Framework Engineering : Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Selenium, Mabl, or similar enterprise-grade tools.

- Full-Stack Application Testing : Execute comprehensive functional and non-functional testing for web-based frontends (Angular) and backend services (C# / .NET).

- Database Validation : Perform rigorous data integrity testing by writing complex MySQL scripts and utilizing SQL Query Analyzer to validate backend logic.

- Environment & Infrastructure Management : Utilize PowerShell and batch scripting to automate test environment configurations, including ODBC setups and LAN-related troubleshooting.

- SDLC & STLC Integration : Drive the testing lifecycle from requirement analysis to final release, ensuring all quality gates are met within an Agile framework.

- Architectural Review : Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts to evaluate code quality and build modular, reusable automation scripts.

- Client-Server Troubleshooting : Test and debug complex interactions in client-server architectures, ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity.

- Defect Lifecycle Management : Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution, providing detailed root cause analysis to the development team.

- Healthcare Domain Compliance : (If applicable) Ensure testing processes align with Healthcare/EMR standards, focusing on data privacy and clinical workflow accuracy.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with developers and product owners to improve test coverage and advocate for quality-first engineering practices.

Technical Requirements :

- Core Automation : 49 years of experience in test automation with mastery of Selenium or low-code tools like Mabl.

- Programming Foundations : Strong understanding of C# and core Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

- Frontend/Backend Exposure : Practical experience testing applications built on Angular and .NET.

- Database Proficiency : Expert knowledge of MySQL, database scripting, and SQL Query Analyzer.

- Scripting Mastery : Hands-on experience with PowerShell and batch scripting for system-level automation.

- Network & Connectivity : Proficiency in ODBC configuration and basic LAN/Network setup for testing environments.

- Methodology Mastery : Deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing principles (Black box, White box, Integration, Regression).

Preferred Skills :

- Domain Expertise : Experience in the Healthcare or EMR (Electronic Medical Records) sector, including knowledge of HL7 or HIPAA standards.

- Analytical Thinking : Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying edge cases in complex web applications.

- Communication Excellence : Ability to articulate technical bugs and quality risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Performance Testing : Basic familiarity with load or stress testing tools is a significant plus.

- CI/CD Integration : Knowledge of integrating automated tests into Jenkins or Azure DevOps pipelines.
