About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Appium and Selenium to join our Quality Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of reliability, usability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web and Appium for mobile (Android/iOS) applications.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand business requirements, application functionality, and user workflows.

- Build and maintain scalable test frameworks for functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing.

- Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Analyze test results, report bugs, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Contribute to test planning, test case design, and test data management strategies.

- Maintain high test coverage and participate in code reviews of automated test scripts.

- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for web and mobile apps.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to set up and maintain test environments and cloud-based test execution (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Document test strategies, frameworks, and best practices for knowledge sharing and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 6- 7 years of experience in test automation with strong hands-on skills in:

- Selenium WebDriver for web testing

- Appium for Android and iOS mobile automation

- Strong programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Experience working with BDD/TDD frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Mocha.

- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and tools like GitHub, GitLab.

- Experience with build and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA processes
