Role Overview :

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability and performance of complex software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to identify critical test scenarios and implement automated solutions that streamline the release process. Your contributions will directly impact the end-user experience by ensuring that high-quality code is deployed consistently across mobile and web environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java to improve the efficiency and coverage of regression testing suites.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium to ensure seamless functionality across iOS and Android platforms.

- Collaborate with developers during the sprint cycle to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, reducing manual intervention and accelerating delivery timelines.

- Analyze test results and perform root cause analysis on failures to provide actionable insights that help the engineering team resolve defects rapidly.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans and automation scripts to ensure knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability of the testing infrastructure.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in Java programming for building robust and maintainable automation test scripts.

- Hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using Appium, with a strong understanding of mobile application architecture and testing challenges.

- Ability to design and implement end-to-end testing strategies that align with agile development methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven capability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, managing tasks independently while maintaining high levels of collaboration with distributed teams.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, backed by 2 - 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance.
