Role Overview :

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Sysmind, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining automated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability and performance of high-scale applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams, data engineers, and product stakeholders to identify testing gaps and implement automated solutions that accelerate release cycles. Your work will directly influence the end-user experience by ensuring that complex data pipelines and user interfaces meet rigorous quality standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement comprehensive automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Selenium to streamline regression and functional testing cycles.

- Execute complex ETL and Datawarehouse testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and transformation logic across large-scale datasets using PySpark.

- Conduct thorough UI/UX testing to ensure seamless cross-browser compatibility and adherence to design specifications across various platforms.

- Develop and maintain automated validation scripts to verify backend services and API integrations, ensuring system stability during high-traffic periods.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, reducing manual intervention and improving deployment velocity.

- Analyze test results and performance metrics to provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement in software quality and development processes.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building automation frameworks from scratch using Python, with a deep understanding of modern tools like Playwright and Selenium.

- Proven ability to perform complex data validation and ETL testing, including hands-on experience with PySpark for processing large-scale data environments.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into effective test strategies and validation protocols.

- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical quality issues to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within distributed teams across Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Bhubaneshwar, and Cochin.

- Ability to manage end-to-end testing lifecycles, from requirement analysis and test planning to execution and defect reporting.

- A minimum of 4 to 8 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation and data-centric testing environments.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, reflecting a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
