QA Automation Engineer (Python Backend Testing 5+ years)

Location : Bangalore

Work Mode : Work from office

NP : Immediate 20 days (Serving)

- Strong Python programming skills

- Experience in backend/system testing (non-UI)

- Good understanding of socket programming / TCP/IP

- Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools

- Experience working with or improving CLI-based automation (e.g., pexpect)

- Ability to automate and validate transaction/message-based systems

- Strong debugging and log analysis skills

- Knowledge of ISO 8583 or similar protocols (preferred)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Python to validate complex backend services and API integrations.

- Develop specialized test suites for socket-level communication to ensure the accuracy of data transmission over TCP/IP protocols.

- Execute rigorous testing cycles for ISO 8583 financial messaging standards to guarantee compliance and operational reliability.

- Perform deep-dive debugging of system logs and network traffic within Linux environments to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with software architects to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, reducing time-to-market for critical releases.

- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and defect tracking to provide actionable insights for the engineering leadership team.
