Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, and backend applications.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test strategies and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Improve testing processes, automation coverage, and QA best practices.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports.
- Support CI/CD implementation and automated test execution pipelines.
- Ensure software quality standards and release readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation and software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in performance or load testing tools like JMeter.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps environments.
