Quality Assurance Analyst - Regression Testing

Job Description :

We are looking for QA Analysts to join our engineering team and support the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The role involves applying modern testing practices, building and maintaining automated test procedures, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

As a QA Analyst, you will design and execute test plans, report defects, and provide feedback to improve product quality.

Responsibilities :

- Apply and maintain testing standards across projects.

- Design, develop, and execute automated test suites using the testing pyramid approach.

- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to validate requirements.

- Identify, document, and track defects in issue tracking systems.

- Analyze test results and share feedback with development teams.

- Participate in code reviews with attention to testability and quality.

- Suggest and implement improvements to testing processes and tools.

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation.

- Support CI/CD processes by integrating tests into automated pipelines.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.

- Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and practices.

- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI tools.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.

Frontend QA Skills and Requirements :

- Experience testing web applications and user interfaces.

- Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

- Experience with component, visual, and accessibility testing.

- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience testing responsive designs across different browsers and devices.

- Familiarity with frontend performance testing.

- Understanding of component-based architecture and testing.

- Experience using Storybook or similar tools for UI component documentation.

- Familiarity with visual regression testing tools (e.g., Percy, Chromatic).

- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and testing tools.

Frontend Technical Skills :

- Testing Frameworks : Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright.

- Visual Testing : Storybook, Percy, Chromatic.

- Accessibility Testing : Axe, jest-axe, Lighthouse.

- Performance Testing : Lighthouse CI, Web Vitals.

- Frontend Technologies : React, Next.js (or other modern frameworks).

- UI Testing Approaches : Component testing, user journey testing, visual regression testing.

- Test Organization : Applying the testing pyramid in frontend applications.
