Job Description

Job Title : QA Analyst

Location : Hyderabad

Responsibilities :


- Test Large-Scale eCommerce Applications : Conduct manual testing on large-scale eCommerce web applications, supporting all phases of the software testing life cycle.

- Requirement Analysis : Analyze defects and enhancement requests reported via JIRA tickets. Collaborate with the team to define testing scope.

- Test Case Development : Develop high-quality test objectives and test scripts using Zephyr Scale to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional requirements.

- Testing Types : Perform various testing types, including smoke, integration, functional, adhoc, accessibility, browser compatibility, mobile, and regression testing.

- Defect Tracking : Track defects from identification to closure, ensuring timely updates to status, resolution, and related comments.

- Regression Test Maintenance : Develop and maintain regression test cases to ensure the stability of existing functionality after updates or changes.

- Status Communication : Communicate test progress and potential issues impacting task completion, working to resolve blockers in a timely manner.

- Team Collaboration : Actively participate in team meetings to share progress, discuss challenges, and collaborate on solutions.

Skill Set Requirements :

- Experience : 5-7 years of experience in manual testing with large-scale web applications.

- Database Testing : Exposure to SQL, with the ability to write queries and analyze results.

- Log & End-to-End Testing : Experience reviewing Splunk logs, performing end-to-end testing, and validating back-end jobs.

- Web Services/API Testing : Familiarity with testing web services and APIs using Postman.

- eCommerce & ATG Experience : Experience in the eCommerce domain and with the Oracle ATG platform is a plus.

Tools & Technologies :

- JIRA : For issue tracking and test management.

- Zephyr Scale : For managing and creating test cases.

- Postman : API testing.

- Splunk : For reviewing the logs

- SQL : Database testing.

- Oracle ATG : For eCommerce application development.
