About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst with strong expertise in automation testing and framework development using JavaScript/TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in setting up automation frameworks from scratch, integrating BDD practices, and working with modern CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Build automation test suites for web applications using Selenium and related tools.

- Set up automation frameworks from scratch, including architecture, reusable components, and best practices.

- Integrate BDD frameworks (Cucumber or equivalent) into automation pipelines.

- Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product teams to define testing strategies and ensure coverage.

- Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to automate test execution pipelines.

- Analyze automation results, identify defects, and drive defect resolution.

- Participate in sprint planning, story reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Maintain test documentation, scripts, and reports for transparency and traceability.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- 9 to 12 years of hands-on QA experience with strong emphasis on automation.

- Proven expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java.

- Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript for automation development.

- Demonstrated ability to build automation frameworks from scratch.

- Solid understanding and implementation experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).

- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.

- Strong knowledge of version control tools like Git.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with API automation tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Playwright).

- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts.

- Understanding of microservices architectures.
