About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and solid experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright.

- Write, execute, and maintain automation test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.

- Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.

- Drive best practices in automation testing and mentor junior QA engineers when needed.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5 - 7 years of professional experience in QA Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.

- Good knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).

- Familiarity with API testing (REST/GraphQL) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with other automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, etc.)

- Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
