Qualitrix - Full Stack QA Engineer - Automation Testing

We are seeking a Full Stack QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in WebdriverIO and a proven track record of working within Agile/Scrum sprint cycles. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications through comprehensive test coverage, automation, and sprint-level collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using WebdriverIO for both front-end and back-end validation.

- Collaborate daily with developers, product managers, and scrum team members to define acceptance criteria and ensure user stories are testable.

- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, contributing from a QA perspective.

- Conduct manual and exploratory testing during sprints to validate new features before automation.

- Perform API testing, data validation, and UI testing across multiple browsers and devices.

- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and fast releases.

- Maintain detailed and well-documented test cases, test plans, and defect reports.

- Ensure high quality of software releases by actively participating in sprint reviews and demos.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 4+ years in software QA/testing with at least 2 years hands-on experience using WebdriverIO.

- Strong command of JavaScript or TypeScript, and experience in Node.js-based test automation.

- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and test planning in sprint-based workflows.

- Experience with test automation frameworks like webdriver IO

- Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.

- Familiarity with Git, test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
