Qentelli - Senior Database Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer with strong expertise in relational and cloud-based databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working in client facing environments and be capable of independently collaborating with clients to deliver high quality database solutions. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to quickly adapt to evolving project requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize database solutions to support application and business requirements.

- Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality database implementations.

- Manage and maintain database performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Develop and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

- Ensure best practices for database security, performance tuning, and data integrity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers and cloud engineers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.

- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and project requirements.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience with Amazon Aurora MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.

- Good working knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB.

- Hands-on experience working in AWS environments.

- Experience designing and developing database solutions in cloud-based architectures.

- Strong SQL programming and database optimization skills.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 6 to 9 years of experience in database development and administration.

- Proven experience in client-facing roles with the ability to interact directly with stakeholders.

- Experience working onsite from client locations (Bangalore).

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Enthusiastic mindset and quick learning ability

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working in Agile environments.

- Familiarity with cloud-native database architectures and best practices.
