QBurst - Java Architect

Description :

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Java Architect to lead the design and development of our next-generation platforms.

This role demands a strong technical leader with a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, and modern software engineering practices.

You will be responsible for defining and owning the overall architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security while driving technical excellence across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities :

- Define and own the end-to-end architecture.

- Lead technical design discussions and drive decision-making in collaboration with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams.

- Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

- Define and enforce security architecture, threat models, and compliance standards.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure a high-quality product.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Conduct code and design reviews to maintain architectural standards and best practices.

- Maintain documentation of architecture and technical decisions.

- Stay current with industry trends, bringing innovative ideas to the product architecture.

Requirements :

- 12+ years of software development experience, with at least 4+ years in an architectural role.

- Expert-level knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.

- Strong experience in architecting scalable, distributed systems.

- Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers (Kafka).

- Proven knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Demonstrated experience in secure coding practices, threat modeling, and security compliance.

- Familiarity with front-end frameworks-particularly React-for seamless full-stack integration.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
