About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect with deep expertise in platform development, solution design, and enterprise architecture.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Custom Applications, ServiceNow scripting, integrations, and end-to-end platform implementation.

As a Technical Architect, you will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable ServiceNow solutions across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Solution Design :

- Define and own the overall ServiceNow architecture for enterprise-level implementations.

- Design scalable, modular, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and IT strategies.

- Provide technical leadership and oversight across development, integrations, and platform enhancements.

- Conduct architecture reviews, solution validations, and impact assessments.

Platform Development & Customization :

- Hands-on development using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Flow Designer.

- Architect and develop Custom Applications, dashboards, data models, ACLs, and automation workflows.

- Oversee development best practices, coding standards, and governance processes.

Modules & Product Expertise :

- Lead solutioning and development across :

1. ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge)

2. ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Mgmt)

3.. HRSD (HR Case, Lifecycle Events)

4. Custom Applications / Scoped Apps

- Review and optimize configurations, workflows, and integrations across modules.

Integrations & Scripting :

- Architect and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, Scripted APIs, and 3rd-party connectors.

- Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable integration patterns aligned to enterprise architecture.

Delivery Leadership :

- Mentor development teams and guide them in adopting platform best practices.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, platform owners, and technical teams.

- Support project planning, solution estimation, risk identification, and technical decision-making.

Quality & Governance :

- Ensure compliance with platform security, performance, upgradeability, and coding standards.

- Conduct technical reviews, audits, and continuous platform optimization.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform in both Development and Architecture roles.

- Strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Custom Application development.

- Deep proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (server & client) and API/integration development.

- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, data models, ITIL processes, and platform governance.

- Proven experience architecting large-scale ServiceNow implementations in hybrid environments.

- Ability to design complex workflows, automation, integrations, and custom solutions.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
