Job Title : ServiceNow Sales and Order Management (SOM) Developer

Experience : 4-8 Years

Location : Remote (India)

Notice Period : Immediate joiner or within 15-20 days preferred.

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Sales and Order Management (SOM) Developer with strong end-to-end implementation expertise in the SOM module. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring, developing, and integrating SOM-related components within the ServiceNow platform. Strong scripting, integration skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, configure, and develop solutions within the ServiceNow Sales and Order Management (SOM) module.


- Manage the end-to-end implementation of SOM processes including Lead-to-Cash, Sales Orders, Order Capture, Order Decomposition, Order Fulfillment, and workflow automation.


- Develop and maintain client-side and server-side scripts, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.


- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and other integration frameworks.


- Troubleshoot SOM-related issues and ensure smooth operation across Sales and Order Management workflows.


- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.


- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).


- Create and maintain technical documentation following ServiceNow development best practices.


SOM Functional Expertise (Must Have) :

- Sales Order Management


- Order Capture & Validation


- Order Decomposition & Orchestration


- Order Fulfillment & Tracking


- Product Catalog & Pricing Models (related to SOM)


- Customer & Sales Management workflows.


Skills & Qualifications :


- 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow SOM development and configuration.


- Strong scripting experience : JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts.


- Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server).


- Good understanding of telecom or enterprise sales workflows (preferred but not mandatory).


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.


- ServiceNow Certification (CAD, CSA, SOM-related modules) is an advantage.
