Job Description

Role : ServiceNow GRC Technical Consultant (IRM) - Remote

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow GRC Technical Consultant with a specialized focus on Integrated Risk Management (IRM) to join our team on a full-time remote basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development combined with a solid understanding of IRM and GRC frameworks.

As an IRM Technical Consultant, you will be instrumental in implementing, customizing, and supporting ServiceNow IRM solutions, ensuring our clients can effectively manage risk and maintain robust governance and compliance postures.


Key Responsibilities :

- IRM Solution Implementation : Lead and execute the end-to-end implementation and customization of ServiceNow IRM solutions based on detailed business requirements.
This includes configuring and extending modules such as Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management.

- Requirements Gathering & Solution Design : Work closely with stakeholders, including risk managers, compliance officers, and business leaders, to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective, scalable, and secure ServiceNow IRM solutions.

- Module Maintenance & Enhancement : Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing IRM modules and workflows, ensuring they align with evolving business needs and ServiceNow best practices.

- Technical Support & Troubleshooting : Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting during all phases of implementation and post-go-live, resolving complex technical issues related to IRM functionalities.

- Compliance & Governance Adherence : Ensure that all implemented solutions comply with established risk management frameworks, governance standards, and industry best practices.

- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with client teams.

- Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with global teams, including other developers, architects, project managers, and quality assurance specialists, in a remote work environment.


Technical Skills & Experience :

ServiceNow Development :

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, including significant exposure to platform configuration and customization.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide Script, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, and Flow Designer.

- Experience with ServiceNow's integration capabilities (e.g., REST API, SOAP, Integration Hub).

ServiceNow GRC/IRM Expertise :

- Minimum of 3 successful IRM implementations in a technical consultant or lead developer capacity.

Strong functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) suite, including :


- Policy and Compliance Management

- Risk Management

- Audit Management

- Vendor Risk Management

- Deep understanding of the GRC data model and how it supports risk and compliance processes.

Risk & GRC Frameworks :

- Strong knowledge of Risk Management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 31000, COSO ERM).

- Solid understanding of GRC best practices and principles.


Certifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Must-Have.

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist IRM (CIS-IRM) - Must-Have.


Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams in a remote setup.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
