Job Title : ServiceNow Business Analyst

Experience : 5 to 9 Years

Job Location : Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi/NCR (Gurugram), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune

Employment Type : Contract (Initial 3 Months Extendable Based on Project & Performance)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst to support our ongoing ServiceNow initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing end-to-end ServiceNow project delivery, preparing detailed documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories), and leading effective client interactions. This is a remote contractual role for an initial duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow technical/development teams.

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow modules and workflows.

- Prepare and maintain documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Use Cases, User Stories, and Test Scenarios.

- Participate in end-to-end ServiceNow project delivery, from requirements gathering to implementation and UAT.

- Conduct workshops, client meetings, and requirement validation sessions.

- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications aligned with ServiceNow capabilities.

- Work closely with developers and architects to ensure business needs are effectively met.

- Support UAT, training, and post-implementation activities.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5 to 9 years of total experience, with minimum 3+ years as a Business Analyst in ServiceNow projects.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, or CSM.

- Proven experience in end-to-end ServiceNow implementation projects.

- Hands-on experience preparing BRD, FRD, User Stories, and Process Flow Diagrams.

- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and documentation abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a remote and cross-functional team environment.

- ITIL certification or understanding of ITIL processes is an advantage.

- ServiceNow certifications (Business Analyst, CSA, or equivalent) preferred.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Certifications in ServiceNow or Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) are desirable.
