Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Service Portal Developer with strong hands-on expertise in building, customizing, and enhancing Service Portal experiences. The ideal candidate should be proficient in widget development, page creation, UI customization, scripting, and integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-quality portal experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance Service Portal pages, widgets, themes, and custom UI components.

- Build responsive and user-friendly portals aligned with business requirements.

- Develop custom AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and ServiceNow UI scripts for portal features.

- Create, configure, and troubleshoot ServiceNow widgets, utilizing client/server-side scripting.

- Integrate Service Portal with REST/SOAP APIs, data sources, and backend systems.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Optimize performance, scalability, and usability of Service Portal components.

- Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of portal functionalities.

- Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices, UI/UX guidelines, and clean code standards.

- Work with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 8 years of IT experience, with 3 years of hands-on Service Portal development.

Strong expertise in :

- Service Portal development (widgets, pages, themes)

- JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap

- Client & server-side Scripting (Glide API)

- REST/SOAP integrations

- Experience working with catalog items, UI policies, UI scripts, and business rules.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data structures and platform capabilities.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

- Good communication and documentation skills.
