We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead ServiceNow GRC Developer with a strong focus on the IRM (Integrated Risk Management) module to join our growing remote team.

This role is ideal for a professional with 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including at least 3 years specifically in GRC/IRM, who possesses advanced scripting capabilities and a deep understanding of system integrations.

As the Lead ServiceNow GRC Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, customization, and optimization of IRM solutions, ensuring they meet complex business requirements and align with strategic governance, risk, and compliance objectives.


Key Responsibilities :

- GRC/IRM Solution Development : Design, develop, and implement robust ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions, with a primary focus on Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management.

- Advanced Scripting & Configuration : Lead and drive development efforts using advanced JavaScript-based server-side and client-side scripting on the ServiceNow platform, including Glide API.

- Platform Customization : Build and manage complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and other platform configurations to automate and enhance GRC processes.

- System Integrations : Design, develop, and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other integration techniques to connect ServiceNow GRC with third-party systems.

- Technical Leadership & Mentoring : Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior developers and administrators on the team, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with solution architects, business analysts, project managers, and key stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.

- Reporting & Dashboards : Customize GRC dashboards, notifications, and reporting features to provide tailored insights and analytics for various business use cases and compliance needs.

- Quality Assurance & Best Practices : Participate actively in code reviews, conduct thorough unit testing, and ensure adherence to best practices for secure, scalable, and maintainable development within a highly regulated environment.

- Platform Enhancement : Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow releases and GRC/IRM enhancements, actively researching and applying new features to continuously improve the platform's capabilities.


Technical Skills :


ServiceNow GRC/IRM Expertise (Mandatory) :


- Deep hands-on development experience in ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules, specifically Policy & Compliance Management, Risk Management, and Audit Management.

- Proven experience in implementing and customizing Vendor Risk Management.

- Strong understanding of the GRC data model and its underlying architecture.


ServiceNow Core Development :


- Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and advanced custom scripting (e.g., Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, Client Scripts).

- Extensive experience with workflows, Flow Designer, and Service Portal development.

- Strong understanding of ACLs and ServiceNow security model.


Integrations :


- Strong understanding of integration techniques using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and

MID Servers for integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems (e.g., SIEM, CMDB, HR

systems).


Frameworks & Methodologies :


- Solid grasp of ITIL framework and how it applies to GRC processes.

- Familiarity with common risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT) and GRC/IRM best practices.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.


Problem-Solving & Communication :


- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Education & Experience :


Experience :


- 7+ years of progressive ServiceNow development experience.

- 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules.


Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.


Certifications (Highly Preferred) :


- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Risk and Compliance or other relevant GRC modules
