Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Developer (AWS Engineer) with 56 years of overall IT experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on AWS development experience. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can independently drive development tasks and contribute to building robust cloud-based data platforms and pipelines. The initial engagement is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project scope.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows on AWS Cloud environment

- Hands-on development using Node.js and Python

- Understand existing system architecture and contribute towards evolving the target architecture

- Perform data profiling to uncover data quality issues and document findings

- Build and test data ingestion and processing pipelines using AWS native services like :

- S3, Glue ETL, Glue Data Catalog, Redshift, RDS, EMR, Lake Formation, Airflow, and PySpark

- Collaborate with team members to develop scalable Data Lake and analytics platforms on AWS

- Work with tools like Databricks (for data pipelines) and Starburst (semantic layer) preferred

- Participate in CI/CD processes using Jenkins, AWS CodeCommit, or GitHub

- Orchestrate workflows and job scheduling in a large-scale enterprise environment

- Follow Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

- Coordinate effectively with onshore/offshore teams and contribute to deliverables

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-6 years of IT experience with 3+ years in AWS Cloud development

- Proficient in Node.js and Python for backend development

- Strong expertise in AWS data services and architecture

- Experience with data profiling, analysis, and documenting data quality issues

- Good understanding of cloud data engineering best practices

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile delivery

- Strong communication and team collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results in a distributed team model
