Job Role/Title : Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Backend Automation Tester with a strong foundation in Java, DSA, and API test automation using RestAssured. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test suites for RESTful APIs, ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services. This role involves working closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for RESTful APIs using RestAssured and Java.

- Write efficient and maintainable code following Page Object Model (POM) design principles.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application functionality and define comprehensive test strategies.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate API functionality and performance.

- Analyze system specifications and translate them into detailed, robust test cases.

- Document and report test results, log defects, and track issues to closure.

- Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving testing frameworks and standards.

- Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks; adapt client-specific frameworks as needed.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in API testing, automation tools, and best practices.

- Demonstrate solid understanding and practical use of Java, Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), and object-oriented programming.
