Role Overview :

As a QA Manual professional, you will serve as the gatekeeper of product quality, ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to translate business requirements into comprehensive test strategies. By identifying critical defects early in the software development life cycle, you will directly influence the end-user experience and ensure the seamless delivery of high-impact digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements across web and mobile platforms.

- Conduct rigorous manual, regression, and integration testing to ensure software stability and feature integrity before production deployment.

- Perform backend validation and complex data verification using SQL to ensure data accuracy and integrity across databases.

- Execute API testing using Postman to verify service endpoints, request-response payloads, and integration points between disparate systems.

- Manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle within Jira, ensuring clear documentation, prioritization, and timely resolution of issues in collaboration with the development team.

- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with stakeholders to ensure the final product aligns with business expectations and user needs.

- Monitor application performance and stability under various conditions to identify bottlenecks and ensure a smooth user experience.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, providing feedback on user stories and contributing to sprint planning to maintain high-quality delivery standards.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in manual testing methodologies with 4 - 6 years of experience in delivering high-quality software products.

- Proficient in writing and executing complex SQL queries for effective database testing and data validation.

- Strong technical capability in API testing using Postman, with a deep understanding of RESTful services and integration testing.

- Proven ability to manage testing workflows and defect tracking using Jira within an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks within the SDLC.
