QA Automation Tester - Selenium/Cypress

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Tester to join our Quality Assurance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated test cases, building test frameworks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.

This role involves close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and product teams to define and verify acceptance criteria and system behavior.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, and regression testing.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to review requirements and define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

- Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing across web/mobile applications and APIs.

- Identify, log, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure Boards.

- Ensure test data management, environment readiness, and version control during test execution.

- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test reports with clear traceability to business requirements.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.

- Ensure testing practices align with industry standards and agile development methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3- 6 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or similar.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.

- Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and agile development methodologies.

- Familiarity with test management tools (e. , TestRail, Zephyr, Xray) and version control systems like Git.

- Experience in creating and executing data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid frameworks.

- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and back-end testing.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.

- Understanding of BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).

- Experience with mobile automation testing using Appium or Espresso.
