QA Automation Engineer - Selenium/SpecFlow

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation frameworks, UI/API testing, and a solid understanding of software development and testing practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business and technical requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies and automation scripts

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks

- Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and ensure product quality

- Log, track, and verify software defects through their lifecycle

- Follow established QA processes, coding standards, and best practices

- Monitor automation test execution (scheduler jobs) and ensure stability and reliability of test runs

- Perform maintenance and optimization of existing automation scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA teams

- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies

Required Skills & Technical Expertise :

- Strong experience in QA Automation

- Hands-on experience with Selenium and SpecFlow

- Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks

- Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern

- Experience in UI Testing and API Testing

- Familiarity with tools like Postman and Swagger

- Working knowledge of SQL Server and database testing

- Experience writing automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
