Role Overview :

As a QA Automation Engineer at Wits Innovation Lab, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare software solutions. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality, robust software that meets the stringent requirements of the healthcare industry, ultimately improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust automation test scripts using Selenium and Python to validate software functionality.

- Develop and maintain automated API tests using REST Assured and Postman to ensure seamless integration between different system components.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team, ensuring timely resolution.

- Participate in the design and review of test plans and test cases, providing valuable input to improve test coverage and effectiveness.

- Perform database testing to validate data integrity and accuracy, ensuring the reliability of our data-driven solutions.

- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software defects, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the automation framework, enhancing its scalability and maintainability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.

- Proven expertise in API testing using REST Assured and Postman.

- Strong understanding of database testing principles and experience with SQL.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects effectively.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment, communicating effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
