QA Automation Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, Python programming, ETL validation, and database testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications by building scalable automation frameworks and validating complex data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and PyTest.

- Perform end-to-end testing for ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.

- Validate data integrity using SQL queries across relational databases.

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation suites.

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and database testing.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure software quality.

- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

- Maintain test documentation and manage test execution using TestRail or similar tools.

- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams for resolution.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
